What kinds of events do you DJ?

Weddings, birthdays, corporate events, debs, pub nights, community festivals.

If people are there to have a good time, I'm in. I've played everything from backyard 21sts to big reception venues across Gippsland.

What music do you play?

Every event starts with a conversation. We’ll chat about your favourite music, special songs, and the atmosphere you want to create. Whether you have a playlist ready to go or need a little guidance, we’ll build a soundtrack that feels uniquely yours. From timeless classics and disco favourites to 80s, 90s, rock, pop, R&B and today’s biggest hits, every song is chosen with purpose. On the night, I’ll bring your vision to life by reading the room, taking requests, and knowing exactly when to play the right song to keep the dance floor full.

Can I give you a must-play list? What about a do-not-play list?

Yes, and both are equally important. Your favourite songs help create unforgettable moments, while your do-not-play list keeps the night true to your style. I’ll take the time to understand your preferences and make sure they’re followed from the first song to the last.

Do you bring your own gear?

Absolutely. I provide a complete professional DJ setup with everything needed for an unforgettable celebration. That includes premium EV Evolve 50 sound systems, Denon Prime DJ controllers, professional lighting, a stylish DJ booth, wireless microphones for speeches, and all the equipment needed to keep your day running seamlessly.

Where are you based and how far will you travel?

Home is Drouin, but you’ll often find me on the road! I regularly travel throughout Gippsland and beyond for weddings and events. If you’re unsure whether I cover your area, just send me a message. There’s a good chance I do.

How long do you play for?

Most celebrations are around 4–5 hours, but every event is different. If you need a little longer, no worries, we’ll chat about your plans and work out the perfect timeline together.

Do you offer a Photo Booth?

Absolutely! My Digital Photo Booth is one of the most popular add-ons and is a fantastic way to keep your guests entertained while creating memories they’ll take home instantly.

Unlike traditional enclosed booths, my open-air setup uses a professional DSLR camera and studio lighting to capture beautiful, high-quality photos. It’s paired with the latest 13-inch iPad for a smooth, modern experience that’s quick and easy for guests of all ages to use.

Every photo, GIF and Boomerang is delivered instantly via text, email or AirDrop, so your guests can share the fun straight away. After the celebration, you’ll also receive the complete gallery to relive every laugh and unforgettable moment.

How do I book?

Booking is easy. Simply get in touch through my contact page and let me know your event date, venue and the type of celebration you’re planning. I’ll get back to you promptly with my availability, answer any questions you have, and guide you through the booking process. Once you’re ready, I’ll secure your date and we can start planning an unforgettable celebration together.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner, the better!

Wedding dates, especially Fridays, Saturdays and peak spring and summer weekends, can book out well in advance. If you’ve already chosen your venue, it’s a great time to lock in your entertainment too.

For birthdays, corporate events and private celebrations, a few months’ notice is usually plenty. That said, if your date is available, I’ll always do my best to fit you in, even if it’s last minute.

Booking, Payments & Cancellation Policy

To secure your booking with Fancy Disco, the following terms apply.

Booking Deposit

  • A booking deposit (typically between $50 and $300, depending on your event) is required to secure your date.

  • Once your booking is confirmed, your date is reserved exclusively for you and I may decline other enquiries for that day.

  • For this reason, booking deposits are non-refundable if the event is cancelled.

Final Payment

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.

  • If your event is cancelled after the final payment has been made, 30% of the final payment will be refunded.

Rescheduling

  • If your plans change, I’ll do my best to transfer your booking to a new date, subject to availability.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 20 days before your original event date.
